STJ Kids Sacraments

We love walking alongside families to help collaboratively prepare their child to receive the Sacraments of 1st Communion and 1st Reconciliation. Children engage in two years of formation to be prepared to receive these beautiful Sacraments. We offer formation for children of all ages beginning in the 1st grade and have classes for students in middle school too.

Important Dates for 2023-2024:

-January 25th- Year 2 1st Reconciliation mandatory parent meeting (via zoom)

-January 27th- Year 2 1st Reconciliation Retreat- Saturday morning 9:00-12:00

-January 21st, February 25th, March 17th, April 14th- RCIA Confirmation classes 6:15-7:30

-April 19th- RCIA Mass Rehearsal- Friday evening

-April 20th- RCIA Mass

-May 10th- Year 2 1st Communion Rehearsal- Friday evening

-May 11th- Year 2 1st Communion Ceremony- Saturday at 11:00 mass with reception to follow

-May 22nd- RCIA 1st Reconciliation

-Each family should attend two Family Faith Formation Sunday gatherings (Betsy will assign)

-Each family should complete 8 at home family challenges (emailed out monthly)
