Respect Life
Mission statement:
 
Respect Life works to instill respect for human life from conception to natural death and to bring a conversion of heart and mind for all to be open to God's special gift of life.
Respect Life recognizes the sanctity of life and that all are created in the image and likeness of God and that we must protect, nurture, and sustain human life at all stages.

The purpose of this ministry is to implement the Bishop’s Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life activities and increase parish awareness of these activities that are pastoral, spiritual, educational, and advocacy.  All are invited to be a part of this ministry and to participate in any or all of the four activities.

 
Some of our activities include a Rosary for Life during Eucharistic Adoration at 6:10 pm every Thursday prior to the first Friday of the month, the Gabriel Project, support of the annual Our Lady of Angels Maternity Shelter Benefit Banquet, Diocesan Pro-Life Conference, observance of Respect Life Sunday/Month and the Baby Bank Campaign. Meetings are held on an as-needed basis organize projects and offer information.

Join us for a Rosary for Life at Eucharistic Adoration (Sept-May, except January) after mass every Thursday before First Friday in Ave Maria Chapel.
 
Each Friday, Aug 3 -Sep 28, answer the U.S. bishops’ call to pray and fast that a change in the U.S. Supreme Court will move our nation closer to the day when every human being is protected in law and welcomed in life.  Join at www.usccb.org/pray!
