Thursday, January 25, 2024, the leadership staff, councils, and committees shared the campus expansion options at a Town Hall gathering. Those that attended the meeting chose to move forward with a feasibility study.
The Town Hall group was presented with three options:- 12,000 sq ft expansion to Brooks Hall, remodel of the church offices into Jordan Hall, and expansion of the church Narthex for fellowship gatherings & additional seating.
- 6,000 sq ft expansion to Brooks Hall, remodel of the church offices into Jordan Hall, and expansion of the church Narthex for fellowship gatherings & additional seating.
- Remodel of Brooks Hall and elimination of the actual Hall into meeting spaces, remodel of the church offices into Jordan Hall, the enclosure of the current Sanctuary into meeting rooms & Chapel, and the building of a new Sanctuary.
The majority in attendence selected Option 1, which contained a 12,000 sq ft expansion to Brooks Hall. The attendees expressed a desire to revisit a new Sanctuary at a later date.
We will have a second showing of the Option 1 plans. We are finalizing a date to further update the parish.
More information will be shared in February at all of the Masses. -
