The Theme: "Pilgrims of Hope" The theme "Pilgrims of Hope" encourages Catholics to renew their faith and hope in a world facing challenges. Pope Francis has designated the 2025 Holy Year as a time to renew ourselves as "Pilgrims of Hope". The logo for the Jubilee Year features four stylized figures representing humanity coming from the four corners of the earth, embracing each other to symbolize solidarity and fraternity, with the figure at the front holding onto a cross, as sign of faith and hope. Jubilee Plenary Indulgence What is it? Grace granted by the Catholic Church that cleanses the soul as if the person had just been baptized. It can also be applied to souls in purgatory.
How to obtain it: There are four foundational conditions that must be met for all jubilee plenary indulgences:
Detachment from all sin, even venial sin
The Sacrament of Confession*
