Family, Faith & Fun
Who are your Heroes? Maybe a sports figure, a politician or a scientist. Time to add one or two heroes to your personal list. For the last 2000 years, Christian heroes have been the Saints. Learn about saints who had heroic virtues, courageous sacrifices and humble hearts. This summer Family, Faith and Fun is continuing the tradition of a summer studies that deepen your faith life. For the 1st four Wednesdays in July we will learn about different heroic saints and study how we can use their example in our own lives. We will be using a new book from local Catholic author, Michael Foley, called “Drinking with the Saints”. Currently the #1 Best Seller in Catholicism books on Amazon. We will meet from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, in Brooks Hall. The cost of the 4-week study is $25. We will have light snacks and childcare is available.
